I purchased a Mcintosh ma 230 amplifier that was restored but the vintage audio shop. It’s absolutely stunning how good of job they did, this unit is close to 60 years old and works and looks like it’s new. The customer service was excellent and they packaged the amp with precision to make sure it arrived in perfect condition…and it did. Bottom line , great work, great customer service..

I purchased a McIntosh MC7270 amplifier online and the owner, William, actually drove it to my house from Buffalo…. a 7 hour drive… and he set it up for me at no additional cost. The amplifier looks perfect as advertised.

Bought a Stereo receiver from here and they were excellent. I had an issue with getting sound out of the speakers and they asked me to bring in the receiver. Was helped by Tom and was also educated on some other things while he tested it out. Turns out I was missing a cable. This is a small business dealing in vintage electronics, and some of the other reviewers would be best to keep that in mind as in any hobby you need to be prepared to learn and be glad there are people willing to work on this stuff!

Bill is one of the best folks to do business with. He wants to make sure people who walk away with their vintage audio gear are 100% satisfied. Their location is ideal - an old renovated school - where the equipment feels right at home in his large main display room. Right down the hall is the staging area for new arrivals where two excellent technicians are busy ensuring each piece of equipment is performing up to specifications for many more years of service. A true gem of a place and a must see! Highly recommended.

If you are into vintage audio then you can appreciate finding a local shop that can fix your equipment back to factory specs. I recently had a tube receiver worked on and they did an awesome job. It was dead and they breathed new life into it. Also being a small shop you must be patient . I have had many repairs done with this shop and highly recommend.
